2. Not a governmental website

This is not an official website of the Romanian state, the Parliament of Romania, the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies, the Palace of Parliament administration, or any other public authority or government body.

palatulparlamentului.com is a commercial presentation site operated solely by SKL PRO TRAVEL S.R.L., a private tour operator. The domain name, branding, imagery, and references to the Palace of Parliament / Palatul Parlamentului are used to describe the venue of the tours we organise. They do not imply ownership, endorsement, sponsorship, or official affiliation with any public institution.

Official information about parliamentary institutions should be obtained from their own official channels. We are not authorised to speak on behalf of the Romanian Parliament or any government agency, and nothing on this Website should be treated as an official government communication, public service, or administrative procedure.

3. Nature of the website

The Website presents English guided tours of the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest and related visit information (meeting point, practical rules, FAQs). It is provided for general information and marketing purposes.

The Website does notprocess payments and does not conclude the contract of sale on this domain. When you choose to book, you are redirected to an external booking application where the purchase contract is formed under that platform's terms, prices, and confirmation flow, unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Content on the Website (including prices, schedules, room lists, and availability) is indicative and may change. Binding details are those confirmed at booking.

4. Tour description

The standard offer is an English-only guided tour lasting approximately 1 hour, including entry tickets and a host at the meeting point. Indicative prices start from €30 per person for group tours and €80 for private tours. Final prices, availability, language of service, and start times are confirmed on the booking application.

Exact rooms visited can vary with the parliamentary and security schedule. We describe typical highlights (for example Plenary Hall areas, ceremonial corridors, and reception spaces when the route allows) without guaranteeing a fixed itinerary on any given day.

5. Access and itinerary

The Palace of Parliament is an active legislative building. Access for individual walk-up visitors may be restricted; organised groups accompanied by authorised tour operators or hosts may be required. Airport-style security screening applies.

Rooms may close and the itinerary may change without notice for operational, protocol, or security reasons decided by the venue — independent of SKL PRO TRAVEL S.R.L.. Such changes do not by themselves mean the tour was not provided, where a guided visit still takes place through accessible areas.

6. Identification

Participants must present original identification: EU ID or passport for EU nationals, and original passport for non-EU nationals. Driver's licences and photocopies are not accepted. Without valid original ID, participation may be refused by venue security. Where refusal is attributable to the participant, the booking is treated as cancelled without refund under the applicable booking terms.

7. Meeting point and punctuality

Meeting point: Romanian Senate, Calea 13 Septembrie. Monday–Friday: entrance B3. Saturday–Sunday: entrance A1. Arrive 15–30 minutes before the start time shown on your voucher.

Do not proceed alone into the venue. Access is granted with the organised group from the meeting point. Late arrival may mean you cannot join the group for that departure; late or missed departures caused by the participant are generally non-refundable.

8. Cancellation

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the reserved date, subject to the booking partner's confirmation and cancellation flow. Later cancellations, no-shows, or failure to meet ID / meeting-point requirements attributable to the participant are not refunded, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

9. Suitability and conduct

The activity is not suitable for people with impaired mobility. Participants must follow venue security rules and instructions from hosts and security staff.

Prohibited items and behaviours include (non-exhaustively) smoking, animals, alcohol, food and drinks, littering, and photo or video recording where forbidden by venue rules. Serious breach of rules may result in removal from the tour without refund.

10. Intellectual property

Website content, branding, layout, text, and selected media are protected by intellectual property and unfair-competition rules. You may view the Website for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, or commercially reuse materials without prior written consent from SKL PRO TRAVEL S.R.L., except where mandatory law allows (for example brief quotation with attribution).

Third-party marks (including references to public institutions or the Palace of Parliament) remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for descriptive purposes.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website in any unlawful way or for fraudulent enquiries;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Website or its infrastructure;
  • misrepresent yourself as acting on behalf of a public authority or as an official channel of the Palace of Parliament;
  • submit malicious content, spam, or automated bulk requests through contact channels.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by Romanian and EU consumer law, SKL PRO TRAVEL S.R.L. is not liable for venue-imposed changes, closures, force majeure, or losses arising from failure to follow security or meeting-point instructions. We are also not liable for the content, availability, or policies of third-party sites you reach via our links (including the external booking application, maps, or messaging apps).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Consumer dispute resolution

Consumers may use ANPC alternative dispute resolution (SAL) via reclamatiisal.anpc.ro. See also anpc.ro/ce-este-sal. EU consumers may also consult the European Online Dispute Resolution information made available by the European Commission where applicable.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by Romanian law. Competent courts are those determined by applicable consumer protection rules. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms to the extent permitted by law. For booked tours, the terms confirmed at the time of booking (including the booking partner's terms) prevail for that reservation.
